camping pictures

Nature is such a beautiful thing. I went camping recently, and I truly enjoyed it. It can almost feel like a shock to be so close to nature, contrary to one’s everyday life.

Although my feet may have hurt at the end of the hike, the memories and beautiful scenery will be my thoughts of the adventure as I look back on the experience years from now.

Although my legs may be bug-bitten and scratched from thornes, these marks will fade and my happy feelings will remain.

I can see it in my head now; the trees rustling in the wind. The slight canopy they make over the trail, the sun slowly seaming in. The grilling of the oven, the laughter and the silence. So much experience in a short time.

I am so grateful for my life, and this camping trip only made me feel luckier. The sights I saw so beautiful, the people I spent it with so wonderful. I hope to look back on it forever.

A seemingly city-type I consider myself, turned into not. And I came out with an open heart and widened eyes.

Our Earth has so many treasures, some only in a short distance. What one may have never known, brought out through camping and exploring. I felt as if I was far away, but the reality is that I was closer to home than I could’ve ever expected.

Thank you trees, bugs, chipmunks and firewood. For your contribution to my amazing expedition. I don’t deserve such luxury, and I will remain grateful to the end.
