Why Doesn’t My Silence Work?

Why do I cry in the middle of the night?

Why does my silence reach no one?

Why do I feel all alone now?

I see this I do not know why I felt this way.

The emptiness felt hollow,

I guess I must say.

The mindspaces one can feel,

Can make awful things seem awfully real.

I swear this is not the end,

You are loved and that’s a message for you my friend.

I take you in with open arms,

My hands not closed for a moment.

I will be a shoulder, back, knee or boulder.

For your heart, brain and pain.

I appreciate what you have done,

And the person that you are today.

I will always repay,

What you say,

As you mean a lot to me.

Don’t sweat this small hiccup,

The world will get brighter,

The world will be bigger.

More opportinutes to win,

And move on from the hard.

There is no more need to guard,

Yourself from what you feel.

Your thought are real.

Thank you.

My Birthday
