The Pursuit of Fame

Why is fame wanted by so many?

When the consequences are clear

Lives changed forever, living in fear

Money is a positive, but how much is it truly worth?

The ads, commercials, and shows

With so many people on earth

And so many who know your name

A stroll can become uneasy, a trip to the mall seems vain

When will the isolation kick in?

The need not to leave

Only for a job, with people you may hate

Inconsistencies are common, lack of jobs prove not to be forgotten

Auditions are draining, with rewards few and far between

Being judged for appearance, speech, and teeth

The life for some

Wanted by many

Perfected by none

For status can only take you so far

When your determination is the name of the game

Green Circle Spins
