Blind to the Side-Eye

You can only see,

Partially.

The Earth is round and the possibilities stay clear.

If you see it from your point of view,

You may shed a tear.

But to the eyes of another,

It can be so true.

Don’t feel as if you’re perfect.

Because maybe you just won’t be worth it.

For the small or the big.

For greatness and rigged.

I will stay and try again.

But I can’t promise anything.

When,

I feel good again maybe I’ll try to stay friends.

It is hard to tell what they think.

It’s hard to know if I will do alright.

Maybe I’ll just nod and wink.

I could try to act like the other,

Sucking up and maybe getting in.

I would always feel unfair, and like I was a bother.

I don’t really know what happened here.

To my eyes it’s different,

But to you, it may seem,

Clear.

Believe me when I say,

Darkness may rule.

The normal may pay.

The hard-workers stay.

I hope I can be picked,

If I don’t I won’t be pissed.

But I might cry a bit.

I hope I do,

Pass and make it.

Pass,

And make them both.

I sit here and get scared,

But I know that I have it in me,

Okay?

So if I feel down another time,

I can hopefully make myself feel alright.

See you later with the results…

Hopefully, they’re good.

See you with my thoughts.

Green Circle Spins

Round and round it goes When will it stop? The colour of grass and lime Make my skin as white as the snow That falls oh how heavily On the patchy gravel roads The money paid doesn’t getaway From the cracks and holes spotted daily Or the roadkill on the sidewalks As I walk down […]
