I look out to the world

And I see beauty, life, and sureness

That everything will be alright

The darkest days will pass

Happy times will last

And I promise that life is looking out for you

We are so similar at the end

Bones and skin

Hearts and brains within

So why do we fight about beliefs

And believe we are better

Because we

Went to school, or got a cheque, or did it all sooner

Nothing of this

WIll matter

Five years from now

And for the things

We cannot change

Such as our eyes, face, genes, and race

Why do we talk?

Why do some laugh?

History will stay the same

But for the present, we can change that

I know I see

A world of pure possibillibity

Do we waste it?

Or are we living in the purest we can go?

I sure hope that’s not so.

Green Circle Spins
