What A Shame

What a shame,

That my heart breaks every second of the day.

I’d say I’m surprised,

And maybe I am but I shouldn’t be.

If I open my eyes and look inside,

Just maybe I will see the person that is me.

So much ahead of me.

But I still stare out the

Window and cry.

I see my foggy reflection through

The tears in my eyes.

If only I were different,

And didn’t wonder why.

I feel so lonely,

Like no one understands.

I hope to find someone someday who can

Help me feel not so bad.

For being myself,

Concerned and confused.

For who am I to wonder I guess?

No questions from me,

Nothing to ask.

As I know if I do, I will be shut down.

Cause who runs the world,

Who runs the world if it’s

A ghost town?

Green Circle Spins
