Don’t Cry

As the tears fall down your face I wonder why they are there. I feel for you in these dark times but I hope you shall not fear.

Losses are heavy and wins are weak in the eye of one of us.

The reality of not being the best can just be too much to handle.

I see your frustration and I may even feel the same, but it is important to remember that overall this all is lame.

Maybe I am writing this to you.

Or maybe it is for me.

But I know this is a hard time and that we need to stick close, you see?

There are so many challenges this world will bring, this is not one of the hardest. Don’t hall victim to the hardness.

Fall,

Falling,

And fell.

But I believe you can rise.

I truly think this is your time.

I am not a mind-reader but this seems just so evenly placed.

How we came to be to this moment in time…

Something is meant to be.

So try to stay up here in the clouds,

With a smile and simple nod.

As there are many times in our short lives for madness and distraught.

When this is over that will be the true sadness, and my tears may even fall. It was a good run, it has been fun.

I hope to see you all again next year.

Green Circle Spins

Round and round it goes When will it stop? The colour of grass and lime Make my skin as white as the snow That falls oh how heavily On the patchy gravel roads The money paid doesn’t getaway From the cracks and holes spotted daily Or the roadkill on the sidewalks As I walk down […]
