Half of one,

Equals a quarter of another.

This is why this Earth seems to shudder.

Like the blinds in my room,

It shakes and it moves.

When will it be too much?

If we keep on going,

Who knows what we’ll be showing,

Our kids.

I guess the ground is rising,

The top is really gassing me up.

It’s harder to breathe and especially,

In the places, we help.

We need to condemn,

What is making all this mess.

And maybe it won’t be our fault.

I swear this is not what anyone could see.

But now it seems too clear.

Sadness will fill us,

Heartbreak will contain us,

And we soon won’t even be here.

Every generation’s worse,

Our feelings strong and curse

The way we take care of it.

Don’t half do your job,

It is not a right or wrong,

We need to do something now.

Green Circle Spins

Round and round it goes When will it stop? The colour of grass and lime Make my skin as white as the snow That falls oh how heavily On the patchy gravel roads The money paid doesn’t getaway From the cracks and holes spotted daily Or the roadkill on the sidewalks As I walk down […]
