The Loonie
This is a poem I wrote just because I had the idea of using a loonie in the centre of a story. Such a regular object could be transformed into a magical thing to the eye of someone desperate.

This is a poem-type piece I wrote about confidence in today’s society. I used the first person/second person perspectives in different ways to try to show how we hypocritically judge ourselves and others, and help strengthen the circle of hate that our society feeds off of.
This is a little piece about the world. It focuses on the idea of placing more importance on ourselves (people living in a first-world country) and ignoring the problems of the needy around the world, over the selfish fears for only ourselves.
This is a poem about my friend, with lots of meanings and confusion, to represent the true occurrence that inspired this story.
