Thank You

Thank you to the people who taught me lessons I never knew I needed.

The subtle things that stuck with me, the tiny bits of hope.

It is amazing what you can find in a world so different from yours.

I wish I could write a card to every person whose words I remember so vividly.

Teachers, strangers, old friends and more.

Thank you to all who have changed my life for the better, and even the ones who did for worse.

Everyone affects everything they come into contact with, and thank you to the people who had an effect on my life.

It is incredible to think about how much even a sentence can change things.

But it happens.

“What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?” is a common question asked to many.

As advice, pep talks, and lectures can all stay with a person, no matter who is giving them.

Overall, I wish I could do it in person, but at least I’m saying it at all.

Thank you.

We can all take time to say thank you. There is so much hatred in the world, and being nice is so easy. Maybe not a “thank you”, maybe a smile. As long as you are treating others with respect and kindness, you are doing something right. People come and go in life, temporarily and sometimes forever. I wish that I could say something to the people I didn’t get a chance to, but I can’t. Take advantage of that chance, if you wish to. You never know what kind of impact you could make.
