Waiting Waiting Waiting

The waiting game is a long one

And patience is the key

Maybe once this music is off

There will be another voice there for me

One that isn’t a robot

But will help the problem

That’s just so frustrating

I hope I make it in time

Cause it would really be a shame

If I had to spend one more dime

On this stupid thing

When I think about it

Who is really to blame?

Me or them, or the other them

I’ve just got to keep calm

Soon this phone won’t ring again

And the annoying voice will stop

And I can put this phone away

As well as turn this computer off

So much worry

In such a hurry

Why couldn’t it just have gone through?

I guess that’s all for me

But I just say please

Can we not have any more problems?

No more mistakes

Or accidents I fear

For time is precious

And this time spent is near

From where I’d like to be.

Green Circle Spins

Round and round it goes When will it stop? The colour of grass and lime Make my skin as white as the snow That falls oh how heavily On the patchy gravel roads The money paid doesn’t getaway From the cracks and holes spotted daily Or the roadkill on the sidewalks As I walk down […]
