Kindness

It is so easy to be kind in a world of anger, destruction, and revenge.

I think it is simple to just nod your head, smile and treat people with respect.

Take a man for example. Whom has had nothing his whole life. Not a bed to sleep on, not a shoulder to cry on but merely the clothes on his back.

He says hi to each and every person he sees.

He owes nothing to anyone, and no one to him.

The people that live somewhat like me… with food, clothes, a house, and loved ones, live a much more cynical lifestyle.

I am not an exception, but I hope to improve every day.

To think about what people lived like many years ago is astonishing, many of our minds are clouded with the amazing pleasures we can have.

But the reality is that the way “we” (as people with money) used to live is a very similar sight to many people.

You can go to any big city; New York, Sydney or Toronto as examples.

And you will see both sides and the many sides of those sides.

Although, the number of people who don’t give others the time of day, seem to always be the ones in suits and ties or fancy shoes.

A smile can hurt no one, a genuine moment could help anyone.

You never know who you could be standing behind inline, or opening the door for, or walking down the street with.

Kindness is a beautiful thing.

And I can’t help but think if we didn’t crowd our mind with disparities, opinions, and judgments, how different we would all be.
